Join us for a hands-on Lunch with Purpose session with conscious leadership coach and author Eric Kaufmann.

How do conscious leaders ensure purpose translates into action? In this interactive conversation, Eric will explore how OKRs can help organizations reduce what he calls "organizational drift, drag, and friction," create greater "focus, speed, and flow."

In Eric's experience, purpose statements don't transform organizations. The capacity of leaders to embody purpose does. While many companies express purpose-driven intentions, too few embed them into the decisions that shape real outcomes. OKRs provide a practical framework for bridging vision and implementation -- helping teams move purpose from aspiration to action.

Whether you're a Purpose Pledge company or simply exploring how to bring purpose into practice, grab your lunch and join us.

About Eric Kaufmann

Eric Kaufmann has spent the last forty years exploring a Purpose question: What becomes possible when wisdom love and power are brought fully into life and leadership?

His journey began with thirteen years in a residential spiritual community devoted to self-inquiry and direct experience. He then spent twenty-six years practicing and studying in the Zen tradition under Joko Beck and Ezra Bayda. He sat more than sixty silent meditation retreats, endured a year-long silent retreat in the mountains, and guided contemplative retreats for leaders seeking a deeper integration of purpose, presence, and service.

But Eric didn't retreat from the world to find wisdom. Instead, he treated organizations as a living laboratory for the practice of consciousness. For the past twenty-five years, he has led and guided businesses and executive teams as CEO, executive coach, and as Chairman at Dr. Bronner's, a founding member of Purpose Pledge. In that work, he has explored how awareness, integrity, compassion, and accountability can be expressed in the real-world challenges of governance, growth, and decision-making.

This rare combination – deep contemplative training alongside twenty-five years of business leadership – has taught him one essential truth: Purpose statements don't transform organizations. The capacity of leaders to embody purpose does.

Eric describes his path as one of "householder enlightenment" – the practice of bringing an unrelenting commitment to results together with an unyielding regard for spirit. This is not a spiritual luxury. For Eric, the practice of inner work helps leaders translate purpose commitments into consistent action and culture.

Through Sagatica, his executive development firm, Eric and his team help leaders and organizations access three innate capacities – wisdom, love, and power – and translate them into the daily decisions that embed purpose into governance, operations, outcomes, and leadership culture.

He is the author of The Four Virtues of a Leader, Leadership Breakdown, and Rooted Rising & Relaxed.
